Position Overview

DiverseJobsMatter is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of our environment. We are currently seeking a Financial Systems Accountant to enhance our financial operations.

Role Summary

This position is a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will engage in hybrid working, requiring a minimum presence in the office.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Systems Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and advancing the financial systems utilized by our organization and clients.
  • Developing comprehensive reports and providing user support as part of a collaborative service.
  • Leading the strategy for financial systems reporting, which encompasses the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and XQuery.
  • Managing the Excel-based management information system and other reporting tools.
  • Addressing support issues by analyzing and manipulating the MS SQL database.
  • Collaborating with software vendors to implement updates, troubleshoot software challenges, and identify improvement opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in supporting a finance system with a user base exceeding 250.
  • Expertise in financial or performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL, Crystal Reports, and XQuery.
  • A collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
