About the Business

The company is a private equity-backed business with a strong focus on financial management and control. As a Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and other senior stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of annual accounts, tax strategy, and compliance
  • Oversee cash flow reporting and accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Lead a team of accountants with varying levels of experience and qualifications
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant with significant experience in financial management and control
  • Proven track record of leading a team of accountants with varying levels of experience and qualifications
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage or SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
