Administrative Support Specialist in Investment Management

Position Overview: Our client in the Investment Management sector is on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic Administrative Support Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the investment management field while contributing to a thriving organization.
Key Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, demonstrate independence in their work, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
This Administrative Support Specialist should exhibit strong administrative and communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail. Reliability and accountability are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. A genuine eagerness to learn and develop within the finance industry is highly valued.
Preferred Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint is advantageous.
Responsibilities: Duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Reception responsibilities, including managing phone calls, mail, and maintaining a tidy front office
- General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Overseeing kitchen supplies and maintenance
- Coordinating meeting logistics and managing meeting room schedules
- Finance-related administration, including invoice processing, bill payments, and invoice audits
- Database management and upkeep
- Office management duties, including supervision of general supplies and facilities
- Collaboration with facilities management for building and office maintenance
- Management of contracts related to cleaning services and risk assessments
- Event planning and coordination
- Arranging courier services
- Providing administrative support to the marketing department as needed, including the creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Offering administrative assistance to Partners and the broader team
Compensation: Salary is set at £19,200 (based on a 4-day work week from 9 AM to 4 PM).
Benefits: Holiday entitlement is 25 days, pro-rata.
Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 24 hours per week, spread over 4 days (Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 4 PM).
Location: Office-based role.
