We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger and Billing Officer to join our established finance team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Group achieves cash collection targets and minimises debts of concern.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network at all levels. They will also have proven proficiency using Microsoft Word packages and experience within a similar role and chasing Local Authorities for payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Raising sales invoices in line with customer invoicing terms
  • Chasing local authority accounts for payment of invoices and dealing with queries
  • Allocating cash received against ledger
  • Managing queries with regions and customers

The successful candidate will be required to complete a standard DBS Check, cost of which will be met by Polaris. Polaris is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
