Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft Exceptional Dishes: Prepare visually stunning and delicious meals that emphasize seasonality, sustainability, and nutritional balance.
  • Lead with Assurance: Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring efficiency and a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Inspire and Develop: Uphold high standards within the team by recruiting, training, and motivating skilled culinary professionals.
  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Take responsibility for exceeding client expectations while maintaining safety and financial health.
  • Support the Head Chef: Work closely with the Head Chef to uphold kitchen standards and step in during their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in contract catering at the Sous Chef level.
  • A genuine passion for utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Experience with stock control and ordering systems for efficient kitchen management.
  • Track record of achieving targets and KPIs, with a solid grasp of kitchen financial management.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in guiding a kitchen team.
  • Organized, presentable, and tech-savvy, with a successful career trajectory in kitchen management.
