Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Management Team at East Ayrshire Council. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of policy, procedures, and service development in line with National Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Social Work employees to protect and promote the welfare and wellbeing of Children, Adults at Risk, and Communities.
  • Contribute to the development of policy, procedures, and service development in line with National Policy.
  • Assist with the promotion and integration of the Council's key objectives in relation to those identified within the East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships Strategic Plan and the Council's Community Plan.

Requirements:

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate.
