About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our dynamic team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the management of emergency patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and management in the Emergency Department
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff
Requirements
  • FRCEM or equivalent higher qualification
  • Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practice
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine and leadership roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
