Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects.
  • Provide commercial insights throughout project phases, from bidding to completion, while supporting junior team members.
  • Develop and manage tender documentation.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Optimize project value and ensure timely cash flow.
  • Monitor and achieve project margin targets, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate detailed cost reports.
  • Manage low-value projects and ensure compliance at all stages.
  • Implement contractual terms with subcontractors effectively.
  • Maintain awareness of contractual obligations and risks.
  • Facilitate the inquiry, quotation, and order processes.
  • Analyze subcontractor applications for accuracy.
  • Ensure high-quality contract awards based on cost evaluations.
  • Conduct thorough financial and quality compliance checks prior to order placements.
  • Address and resolve issues in collaboration with senior staff based on reporting processes.
  • Engage in client reporting and maintain professional relationships.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience in social housing contracts, both planned and responsive.
  • Familiarity with the NHF Schedule of Works.
  • Proficiency in IT and relevant qualifications.
  • Flexibility in work hours and travel, along with a valid UK Driving Licence.
