Assistant Brand Manager - Innovation

Salary circa 35-40k

Hybrid Work Arrangement

We are seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Specialist from a multinational corporate background with expertise in new product and brand innovation.

This leading wine brand is looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist to execute projects using the principles of brand development.

You will:

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager – Innovation EMEA with in-market learning and provide recommendations on refinements and pivots required.
  • Establish and manage project timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain an understanding of Trade Marketing, Customer Development, Distributor Management, and Sales Planning.
  • Maintain an understanding of the category (brands, trends, consumers, distributor, and retailer perspectives).
  • Co-create new brands with internal and external creative partners through disciplined thinking at each step and adhering to the brand development process from charter development to brand conception to in-market test and consumer adoption.
  • Identify consumer needs and translate them into feasible problem statements and develop initial recommendations for the go-to-market plan.
  • Use knowledge of the category and consumer to create product briefs and refine product briefs with stakeholders' input.
  • Consult with Finance to develop the financial model for the project and optimize it throughout the development and go-to-market process.

  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and brands.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform marketing decisions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in brand marketing and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing, customer development, distributor management, and sales planning.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement.
