We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Safeguarding Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive interventions and support services to families affected by substance use.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support and interventions to families at risk, working closely with adults and young people to achieve their goals and improve outcomes.
- Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, incorporating Motivational Interviewing Techniques and other evidence-based approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and risk management plans to ensure the safety and well-being of families.
- Deliver a range of services, including outreach, open access, and case management, to support families in achieving their recovery goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure a coordinated and effective response to families' needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans, ensuring that they are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Significant experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of substance use and the Recovery Agenda.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing Techniques and other evidence-based approaches to substance use treatment.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Excellent IT skills, with experience of using Word, Excel, and other software applications.
