Family Safeguarding Recovery Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Safeguarding Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Family Safeguarding Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and interventions to families affected by substance use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and risk management plans for families affected by substance use.
- Develop and implement personalized recovery plans to support families in achieving their goals and improving outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide a range of services, including outreach, open access, and case management.
- Support medically assisted recovery where appropriate and provide recovery interventions to families affected by substance use.
- Contribute to the overall performance of the service, ensuring contractual output targets are achieved.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in a busy environment as a Recovery Worker or similar.
- Deep understanding of substance use and the Recovery Agenda.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery.
- Vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3 or equivalent.
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
