About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Safeguarding Recovery Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support and interventions to families affected by substance use, working closely with adults and young people to achieve their goals and improve outcomes for the whole family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive interventions, underpinned by Motivational Interviewing Techniques, to families affected by substance use
  • Deliver a full range of outreach, open access, and case management services
  • Support medically assisted recovery where appropriate
  • Work with families to reduce substance-related harm and promote healthier lifestyles
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service, ensuring contractual output targets are achieved
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Recovery Worker or similar role
  • Deep understanding of substance use and the Recovery Agenda
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • Flexibility and ability to work across operational sites
