Position Overview:
At Prospero Teaching, we are seeking dedicated tutors with a background in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a personalized learning environment. Our goal is to find an inspiring and engaging educator who can effectively assist those whose educational requirements may differ from traditional schooling.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate patience and empathy, crafting and implementing tailored learning plans for individual students. A therapeutic approach may be beneficial to aid those with SEN, ensuring that each pupil receives the structure they need in their daily routine while fostering their educational growth in various forms.

Working Conditions:
This role involves providing tuition that substitutes conventional schooling for these young individuals, typically on a part-time basis during standard school hours, five days a week. Prospero Teaching will collaborate closely with you to track each pupil's progress through weekly reporting.

Role Details:
- Location: Hartlepool and surrounding areas
- Position: SEN Tutor
- Compensation: GBP25 - GBP30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate both your needs and those of the student.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in UK classroom settings is essential
- Creative, patient, and capable of innovative thinking
- Previous experience working with SEND or disengaged learners is preferred.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
- References covering the last two years of employment.
