We are looking for an individual who can provide a structured and engaging learning environment, tailored to the needs of each student. Your role will involve creating and delivering personalized learning plans, utilizing a therapeutic approach to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will be responsible for monitoring student progress, submitting regular reports, and collaborating with the Prospero Teaching team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of GBP25-GBP30, depending on experience and qualifications. Flexible hours are available to accommodate the needs of both the student and the tutor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEN
- Provide one-to-one tuition, utilizing a therapeutic approach to support students
- Monitor student progress, submitting regular reports to the Prospero Teaching team
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful experience
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box
- Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or disengaged pupils
