Position: IT Asset Management Coordinator

Location: Worcester with a blend of remote and office work

Salary: £26,982 - £28,402 annually

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary for 12 months

We are pleased to announce openings for IT Asset Management Coordinators to join our dedicated Technology Asset Team, responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of over 40,000 IT assets within the organization. The successful candidates will be integral members of a compact team of four. The role involves supporting the Technical Support department with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to, ordering, tracking, processing deliveries, and SAP confirmations, as well as maintaining the Technology Stores through regular inventory checks and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily inflow and outflow of IT assets, ensuring accurate recording of all asset information.
  • Provide technical guidance and effectively resolve escalated customer inquiries to uphold service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and respond to customer demands to enhance Technology services, collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to drive improvements in systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with all Technology departments to align customer expectations.
  • Work with Finance to address issues and inquiries related to departmental invoices.
  • Assist various Technology departments in developing and maintaining effective asset management processes and systems in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and accessibility of Technology database records, making them user-friendly in accordance with established processes.
  • Conduct thorough audits of all Group sites to comply with audit standards.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to all service delivery issues and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
  • Contribute to special programs and projects that support the Group's values and objectives.
  • Engage with third-party partners, such as recycling vendors, hardware suppliers, and printer maintenance services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Experience in providing Technology customer support services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Proven track record of liaising with external suppliers to resolve challenges.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining documented processes and procedures.
