Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents enjoy nutritious and delicious meals. This position requires weekend availability and offers both part-time and full-time hours.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to provide high-quality service to our residents. Self-motivation and excellent communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food and hygiene certification
  • Previous experience in a similar role (training will be provided)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of both hot and cold meals.
  • Support the head cook in ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and equipment to meet food hygiene standards.
  • Under the guidance of the head cook, keep accurate records of food supplies and monitor freezer/fridge temperatures.
  • Be attentive to the varied preferences and dietary needs of individual residents.
