About the Role:

IQE is the leading supplier of compound semiconductor wafer products and advanced material solutions to the global semiconductor industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient implementation and day-to-day operation of our MOVPE reactors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain efficient process workflows to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide technical input for process development activities and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure quality and specifications are met to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with the Technology and Planning teams to ensure customer requirements are met in full, on time, and to plan.
  • Generate customer certificates of compliance as necessary and review production material prior to shipment.
  • Authorize the release of product to customers based on inspection of pertinent production and characterization data.
  • Utilize technical data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Provide escalation assistance for the shift production engineering team's problem-solving activities out of hours.
  • Prepare and present reports on product and production-related data as required.
  • Monitor reactor performance, including SPC charts, and identify solutions to production problems.
  • Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant semiconductor technology/growth experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
