About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Process Technologist to join our client's team in Newport. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for maintaining process standards and settings to ensure consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve process standards and settings to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with the site team to determine and validate key process parameters and standard settings.
  • Lead the utilization of existing equipment to improve process control and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve product quality and reduce waste.
  • Monitor daily manufacturing and quality data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and training to the wider team on areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to develop and implement new factory processes and machinery.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement and change within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of large-scale cooking and processing.
  • Desirable: Food science degree or qualification.
  • Desirable: Qualification in a science-related field (e.g. chemistry, chemical engineering).
  • Experience in R&D, innovation, and NPD.
  • Experience in food manufacturing.
