About the Role

As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading the HR team in delivering a world-class HR service, aligned with the council's values and objectives. Your expertise will guide the organization through complex changes, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to our services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy, aligned with the council's business objectives.
  2. Lead the HR team in delivering a range of HR services, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  3. Collaborate with senior leaders to drive business outcomes, leveraging HR expertise to inform strategic decisions.
  4. Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, driving business performance and growth.
  5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
