Our client is on a mission to reduce NHS waiting lists by providing specialist clinical services that expand capacity. This Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) role has been created to shape and deliver the next phase of their journey, including an expansion of their range of clinical specialties and the development of new relationships within the NHS.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the evolution of the organization, taking the lead to develop and implement the commercial and business development strategy to maintain their rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy
  • Develop, lead, and mentor the commercial and business development teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Significant experience in a senior commercial or business development role
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, and drive cultural alignment during growth
  • Good financial literacy
  • Skilled in negotiating and structuring commercial agreements
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders, particularly within the NHS
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining long-term key client relationships
  • Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, significant relevant experience is an acceptable alternative

Note that the role is based at our client's office in Redditch, so it's essential that you're able to commute there each day. There will also be occasional travel to client sites, so you'll need a full driving license.
