Aftersales Department Manager

Hunter James Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Aftersales Department Manager to join their team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Aftersales departments between the company's depots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve and optimize on standards / performance of the parts and service teams through effective performance management and development
  • Cultivate successful business culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention and new business for both workshop and parts
  • Optimize and improve customer service standards and ensure the departments run in accordance with company standards and key performance indicators
  • Operating to achieve a very high KPI standard including MOT Pass Rate / Breakdown results whilst maintaining the company's standard at all times
  • Increase efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the depots
  • Regular review resources in order to meet all servicing requirements to ensure that key performance indicators are met – consistently reviewing labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales, debtors
  • Carry out internal audits to ensure depots are fully compliant in terms of both ISO and Health & Safety
  • Reporting directly to directors and keeping all parties updated with constant communication
  • Maximise commercial opportunities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Aftersales management, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth. They will be a strong communicator, with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
