Job Title: Clinical Lead Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Oakdale Centre CiC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing expert psychiatric care to children and adults with ADHD.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Prescribing Service, which is dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals with ADHD. You will work closely with our neurodevelopmental team to develop and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychiatric care to children and adults with ADHD, including medication prescribing, reviews, and treatment planning.
  • Lead the Prescribing Service and work closely with the neurodevelopmental team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including clinical audit and risk management, to continuously improve the quality of care provided by the service.
Requirements
  • Consultant Psychiatrist with relevant experience in treatments for ADHD.
  • Full GMC Registration (specialist register).
  • Current MRCPsych status (or equivalent).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Working knowledge of Mental Health Legislation, risk management principles, and practical risk assessment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of interventions specific to the service.
