Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team, responsible for managing a portfolio of cleaning contracts and leading a team of Area Managers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, driving business growth, and managing financial budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of cleaning contracts, ensuring high-quality service delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Lead a team of Area Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key clients.
  • Manage financial budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Attend training and meetings as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits, monitoring service delivery and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Pre-sale involvement, attending new client site meetings and managing TUPE transfers.
  • Contract mobilisations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to clients.
  • Deliver services in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter, and service level agreement.
  • Manage onsite FM projects, working closely with the Project Team to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Provide a key interface between on-site clients and contracted service providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing multiple cleaning sites and contracts at Operations Manager level.
  • Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff.
  • Experience of motivating, managing, and leading cleaning teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
