Job Title: Managing Conveyancer

At Taylor Rose, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Managing Conveyancer to join our successful property consultant group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our conveyancing department, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality check files prior to sign off and quarterly file reviews to maintain the highest standards of service.
  • Quality check enquiries and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Sign off titles for purchase files, ensuring timely and efficient completion of transactions.
  • Assist Case Handlers with complex enquiries, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent client outcomes.
  • Ensure our clients and introducers receive exceptional service, resulting in excellent feedback and repeat business.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance and training requirements among Case Handlers, ensuring they remain up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Ensure Case Handlers pass internal file audits, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Utilize our case management system effectively, adhering to company guidelines and best practices.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by your Team Leader/Head of Department, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years' experience as a Conveyancer, managing complex caseloads, including Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases.
  • Proven experience as a senior Conveyancer, demonstrating strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Ability to deal with clients to the highest standard of care, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage a team of 25 Case Handlers.
  • Remain up-to-date with legal updates and changes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Good IT skills and experience with case management systems.
  • Conveyancing qualification desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong experience of New Build, Shared Ownership, Transfers of Part.
  • Experience managing a conveyancing department.
  • Experience training junior Conveyancers.
  • Experience with CQS requirements.
