Job Title: Conveyancing Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join our team at The PM Law Group. As a Conveyancing Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of conveyancing, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out complex title checking and produce accurate reports and legal enquiries.
  • To improve the case management system by developing best practice ideas and assisting with workflow process.
  • To assist with complex and VIP cases as required.
  • To provide coaching and training to colleagues as needed.
  • To meet all key SLAs and KPIs within the department and referrers' requirements.
  • To ensure individual compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • To attend and contribute in team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to either solicitor, FCIlex, or CLC.
  • Must have used Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, Online SDLT, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in conveyancing fee earning dealing with sales, purchases, and remortgages.
  • Must be competent and show experience in:
    • Freehold
    • Leasehold
    • Shared Ownership / Equity
    • Registered and Unregistered properties
    • Transfer of Equity, Remortgage and Refinancing work
  • Must be able to demonstrate technical ability in conveyancing transactions, money laundering, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise accordingly.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train as required.
  • Ability to deal with complex cases including those of a commercial and high net worth.
