We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled sales professional to join our team as a Last Mile Delivery Sales Director at Hitachi Europe Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our global sales efforts for postal and delivery fleets, driving business growth and expansion in the last mile delivery market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share in the last mile delivery sector.
  • Lead a global sales team to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the postal and delivery fleets market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, including CEOs, CMOs, and other senior executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive business growth and optimize sales performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in the last mile delivery or postal sector.
  • Strong understanding of the last mile delivery market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
