About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with a variety of needs, including Complex Needs and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a variety of SEN/Mainstream Schools to provide support to children and young people with Complex Needs
  • Gain experience with different types of SEND and develop your skills and knowledge in this area
  • Support children and young people with Complex Needs, including those with Hearing Impairments, Autism, and Speech and Language Delay
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people with SEMH needs
Requirements
  • Be patient, adaptable, and resilient, with a strong ability to work with children and young people with Complex Needs
  • Be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Be passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND, or Children in general
  • Be proactive and able to think creatively to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Have some understanding of what it takes to support children and young people with Complex Needs
