Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Accelerate Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class at a primary school in Pontefract. As a key member of the school community, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide individualized support to students who require additional help.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, particularly with Key Stage 1 pupils
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other school staff
