About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at MI5. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement bespoke solutions to support the growth of our operations
  • Install, configure, and manage remote infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers
  • Administer a multi-vendor environment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, both locally and remotely
  • Assist in the development and implementation of automation systems to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of networking concepts and principles, as well as a keen interest in cyber and global datacentre interconnection. A foundation in network engineering is essential, and experience with coding and network configuration in GNL/Linux-based systems is highly desirable.
