About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic VIP Tour Guide to join our team at Longleat Safari Park. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to our guests, providing engaging and informative commentary about our diverse animal collection and the park's history and architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tour commentary and information to guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Drive Land Rovers through the park, navigating challenging terrain and ensuring the safety of guests and animals.
  • Participate in animal encounters and experiences, observing clearly defined procedures and liaising with the animal team.
  • Meet and greet guests, printing tickets, operating the till, and making hot drinks, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the park's vehicles, reporting defects and ensuring their cleanliness.
About You
  • You will have a full UK driving licence and excellent driving skills, enabling you to navigate the park's challenging terrain.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills, able to recall large amounts of scientific information and speak to large groups in a confident manner.
  • You will be bubbly, energetic, and enthusiastic, with the ability to engage with guests on every level.
  • You will be a confident multi-tasker, able to drive safely and communicate effectively with guests.
  • You will be flexible, able to work hours in accordance with company requirements, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
