We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Strategic Sales and Analytics Leader. This is a pivotal role that will drive revenue growth, optimize sales processes, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance our competitive advantage in specific categories.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in targeted categories.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and a healthy challenge to the sales and marketing teams, setting clear objectives, performance metrics, and expectations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning.
- Lead a team of category commercial directors to drive weekly trading reviews, actions, decisions to ensure we are responding to market development on a weekly cadence.
- Manage country product portfolio, pricing, channel ranging, and product life cycle across multiple product categories.
- Governance around category-specific sales forecasts, budgets, and promotional spending.
- Work with teams across the business to execute against the NPD launch.
- Influence and collaborate on the future product roadmap to ensure that each category will grow profitably YoY.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization.
- Mentor and develop sales team members, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- 15+ years of experience in business or commercial management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any detail.
- Problem-solving and initiative.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.
- Ability to travel as needed.
