Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to manage essential maintenance and compliance checks across various contracts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and efficiency of heating systems in both domestic and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heating installations.
  • Performing gas tightness tests and servicing on heating systems.
  • Executing statutory inspections, including emergency lighting and plumbing repairs.
  • Acting as a representative for the client, addressing concerns and queries professionally.
  • Overseeing subcontractors during site visits.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Carrying out minor repairs to building fabric.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate site documentation.

Qualifications Required:
  • Gas Safe Certification.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relevant qualifications in building services, such as NVQ Level 2.
  • Experience in plumbing, carpentry, and statutory inspections.
  • Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to complete risk assessments and method statements.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Full UK driving license.
