Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks, gas and plumbing refurbishment, and providing recommendations to rectify faults and maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks within your area of expertise and skills set, allocated by the Scheduler and/or appropriate manager.
  2. Undertake gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks, including testing work on completion.
  3. Order supplier parts via purchase order line.
  4. Manage van stock as required.
  5. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as designated.
  6. Provide recommendations and solution options to rectify faults and maintenance issues.
  7. Take measurements, estimate labour, and identify material requirements for follow-on works via the reporting system.
Requirements
  1. Domestic and Commercial Gas ACS qualifications are essential.
  2. Basic competency in using technology, including email and internal software systems.
  3. Full driving licence is essential.
  4. Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and environmental legislation and working practices is essential.
  5. Ability to work at heights.
  6. Good communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
  7. Ability to cover emergency call-outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays) on a rota basis.
