Rubicon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Design Review: Collaborate with designers to review and improve manufacturing designs to ensure they are producible and meet quality requirements.
  • Manufacturing Documentation: Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including route cards, inspection plans, and test plans.
  • Production Control: Input, sanitize, and update manufacturing data in our in-house production control and MRP systems.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Identify and eliminate waste, non-value-added activities, and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Tendering Support: Assist in the tendering process by developing manufacturing strategies and providing technical expertise.
  • Quality Updates: Update and follow through on manufacturing drawing, documentation, and quality updates.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing role, with knowledge of machining and/or welding in a lean environment.
  • Education: Graduate calibre.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, mechanical assembly, welding, and electronic/electrical assembly. Ability to communicate clear written and verbal instructions to all levels of personnel.
