Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing process design and development for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements and standards.
  2. Manage allocated projects through a structured, gated process from concept to production handover.
  3. Provide technical guidance to the business and flow-down project requirements to suppliers.
  4. Selection and procurement of production tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
  5. Support process validation for new and existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.
  6. Prepare work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  7. Support the quality department in PPAP and FAIR processes.
  8. Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer specific requirements, standards, and specifications.
Requirements:
  1. Holds a degree, HND, or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace or equivalent highly regulated sector.
  3. Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask.
  4. Ability to understand and communicate technical data and specifications.
  5. Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
  6. Use of PFMEA/Control Plan tools and risk management techniques.
  7. Experience using CAD software (Siemens NX).
  8. Commercial awareness.
