Manufacturing Engineer

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing process design and development for new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage allocated projects through a structured, gated process from concept to production handover.
- Lead the manufacturing process design and development for new and existing products, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and time scale targets.
- Provide technical guidance to the business and flow down project requirements to suppliers.
- Selection and procurement of production tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
- Support process validation for new and existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.
- Preparation of work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Support the quality department in PPAP and FAIR processes, as well as quality and non-conformance investigations.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer specific requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Holds a degree, HND, or equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably aerospace or manufacturing engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace or a highly regulated sector.
- Excellent project planning and execution skills.
- Experience in CNC milling, turning, conventional machining, fusion welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical data and specifications.
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Use of PFMEA and control plan tools, as well as risk management techniques.
- Experience using CAD software, such as Siemens NX.
- Commercial awareness.
