We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to join our research team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering radiotherapy trials and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate clinical trial activity within the trust, reviewing trial protocols and identifying suitable patients.
- Provide specialist information to patients participating in clinical trials and act as a patient advocate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance research initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and protocols, ensuring alignment with trust objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality research and clinical trials, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
- Current HCPC registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer.
- BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent.
- Evidence of recent CPD and postgraduate-level qualification in research or a healthcare-related subject.
- Relevant experience in management, leadership, and project management, including clinical trials coordination.
