Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clinical skills while developing radiotherapy trials and research for the trust.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapeutic radiography, with experience in clinical trials and research. They will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering clinical trial activity within the trust, reviewing trial protocols, and identifying and screening patients for trial suitability.
The successful candidate will also be an advocate for research, providing specialist information to patients taking part in clinical trials and acting as a patient point of contact. They will work closely with the research team to develop and implement new research projects and trials.

Key Responsibilities- Lead, coordinate, and deliver clinical trial activity within the trust
- Review trial protocols and identify and screen patients for trial suitability
- Provide specialist information to patients taking part in clinical trials
- Act as a patient point of contact
- Work closely with the research team to develop and implement new research projects and trials
- Current HCPC registration to practice as a Therapeutic Radiographer
- BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
- Evidence of recent CPD
- Post graduate level qualification in Research, Healthcare related subject or equivalent
