Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic plan to deliver a mission-ready organization fit for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to line managers on complex HR and payroll queries and issues throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage all HR administration within the team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within agreed service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Head of People, Payroll, and Process to oversee and review HR and payroll policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management issues.
  • Develop and implement staff engagement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Process monthly payroll and provide coaching and training to new line managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze HR management information to provide accurate reports and insights on trends, compliance, and HR performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR management, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of up to £41,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days' holiday (pro rata) per year, inclusive of bank holidays, which rises to 38 days after 5 years' service.
