We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant to join our team at WeDo RPO in Selly Oak, Birmingham. Our client is a family-run business that specializes in high-quality double glazing windows, window fitting, doors, and Curtain Walling in various sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing VAT returns, reconciling bank statements, maintaining work-in-progress records, and assisting with management accounts. They will also be involved in purchasing ledger tasks, such as working with purchasing to approve invoices, inputting invoices, reconciling supplier payments, and creating supplier payments.

Additionally, the Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant will be responsible for credit control tasks, including chasing customers, creating sales invoices, creating accounts, assisting with valuations, and verifying credit insurance. They will also process weekly fitter wages, monthly staff wages, and monthly factory wages, as well as reconcile control accounts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
