Job Opportunity: Laboratory Robotics Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Robotics Support Engineer to join our team at Labman Automation Ltd. in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our bespoke laboratory automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and provide excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and planned improvements on our laboratory automation systems
  • Responding to system breakdowns and loss of performance
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and internal teams
  • Fault finding and problem-solving with support from specialist teams
  • Logging and documenting all support work according to internal guidelines
  • Identifying upgrades and improvements of customer systems
  • Collaborating with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded

Key Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
