Rehability UK is dedicated to assisting adults with intricate needs, including but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health conditions, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. We continuously strive to deliver friendly, professional, and inspiring services that we would wish to receive ourselves.

The service we are currently hiring for is situated in a supportive environment and caters to two remarkable individuals with complex needs. Each person we assist has unique support requirements, with personal care being a daily necessity for most. Throughout the day, our staff aids clients in engaging with the community or attending necessary appointments. When clients are able to access the community, they participate in a variety of activities such as: day centers, social events, bowling, rock climbing, trampolining, horse riding, nature walks, art clubs, and much more. During mealtimes, support varies from encouraging clients to prepare their own meals to fully preparing and cooking for them. Additionally, staff may need to assist individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Female Night Support Specialist to work 19-20 hours weekly.

This position is fulfilling as you will have the opportunity to assist wonderful individuals in living their lives with autonomy and respect, helping them achieve their personal goals and fostering independence along the way.

Each day presents new experiences.

Responsibilities include supporting daily activities both at home and in the community. This may involve assisting residents in morning routines and accompanying them to afternoon activities. Duties also include helping with shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks.

This role offers a fantastic chance to build strong, positive relationships with exceptional adults, professionals, and their families, aiding each individual in discovering greater independence and confidence throughout their adult lives. Expect to engage in enjoyable activities such as long walks, outdoor educational excursions, and hands-on interactive projects.

The position involves assisting adults in developing essential skills and ensuring their happiness and well-being.

Weekend and evening work will be required.

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY AS COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
