Position Overview:
*Total Recruitment Support Ltd is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers for night shifts to fulfill the following responsibilities.

Role Requirements:
*HGV Class 1 Night Drivers are needed immediately for temporary assignments with a client specializing in the wholesale and distribution of fresh produce on a national scale.

*Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to work Monday through Friday, as well as weekends, to accommodate the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trunking to a Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) or making multiple deliveries
  • Operating a modern fleet of vehicles
  • Handling palletized loads
  • Completing 1-6 drops based on the assigned route
  • Utilizing electric pump trucks or forklifts for unloading
  • Participating in double-manned runs when necessary
  • Working shifts lasting between 10 to 12 hours
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
  • A minimum of 6 months of driving experience is required
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Clean Driving Record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)


Start times will vary, but we are particularly looking for Class 1 Drivers available between 15:00 and 20:00 for night shifts, so flexibility is essential.

Shifts may be lengthy, adhering to tachograph regulations, averaging between 10 to 12 hours.

Compensation:
*Night shifts: £20.00 per hour, Monday to Friday

*Weekends &
Bank Holidays:
£22.00 per hour


Please note that we do not engage in umbrella schemes where drivers incur fees; all rates include holiday pay or can be separated if preferred.
