Position Overview:

Role Details:
*We require HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for immediate temporary positions with a client specializing in the wholesale and distribution of fresh produce across the nation.

*The ideal candidates will demonstrate flexibility to work from Monday to Friday, including weekends, to meet the varying demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trunking to a Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) or completing multiple deliveries
  • Operating a modern fleet of vehicles
  • Handling palletized loads
  • Managing 1-6 deliveries based on the assigned route
  • Utilizing electric pump trucks or forklifts for unloading
  • Potential for double-manned runs
  • Working shifts of 10-12 hours
Candidate Requirements:
  • Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
  • Minimum of 6 months driving experience is essential
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Clean Driving Record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)


Start times will vary, with a preference for Class 1 Drivers available between 15:00 and 20:00 for night shifts, thus flexibility is crucial.

Shifts may be lengthy, adhering to tachograph regulations, averaging between 10 to 12 hours.

Compensation:
Night shifts: £20.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)
Weekends & Bank Holidays:
£22.00 per hour


Please note that we do not operate umbrella schemes; all rates include holiday pay or can be separated if preferred.
