Position Overview:
*Total Recruitment Support Ltd is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers for night shifts in a dynamic environment.

Role Requirements:
*We are looking for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for immediate temporary assignments with a client specializing in the wholesale and distribution of fresh produce across the nation.

*The ideal candidates will be adaptable to work Monday through Friday, as well as weekends, to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trunking to a Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) or making multiple deliveries
  • Operating a modern fleet of vehicles
  • Handling the collection of palletized goods
  • Completing 1-6 drops depending on the designated route
  • Utilizing electric pump trucks or forklifts for unloading
  • Participating in double-manned runs when necessary
  • Working shifts lasting between 10 to 12 hours

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
  • Minimum of 6 months driving experience is required
  • Current CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shift Details:
*Start times are flexible, with a preference for drivers available between 15:00 and 20:00 for night shifts. Expect long shifts in compliance with tachograph regulations, averaging 10 to 12 hours.

Compensation:
*Night shifts are compensated at £20.00 per hour from Monday to Friday.
*Weekend and Bank Holiday rates are set at £22.00 per hour.

*Please note that we do not operate umbrella schemes; all rates include holiday pay or can be separated if preferred.

Job Types:
*Full-time, Part-time, Temp to Perm

Expected Hours:
*40 – 60 hours per week
