About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our team at Assembly - Global. As a key member of our affiliate department, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our clients' affiliate activities across international territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of UK and international affiliate programmes, including programme management through network partners and instructing account managers.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term planning and strategy to achieve client objectives.
  • Assist with new business proposals and pitches, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client needs and market trends.
  • Ensure smooth new programme launches and migrations after new business wins, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Research and contact prospective affiliates for client campaigns, leveraging your expertise in affiliate marketing to drive results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives mutual growth.
  • Monitor and report on affiliate activity daily, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Audit affiliate websites and promotional methods to ensure compliance with client programme terms and conditions.
  • Update creative, offers, and promotions on behalf of clients, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • Research seasonal sector trends and new geo-market insights to inform affiliate marketing strategies.
  • Work with affiliate networks and affiliates to create exposure plans for client campaigns and support promotions and new product launches.
  • Monitor and report affiliate promotions back to the client, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Ensure clients are informed of Assembly's sustainability offering and credentials, championing a sustainable approach to marketing across client work where applicable.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working directly on affiliate campaigns, either client, network, or agency side.
  • An organised and efficient approach to work, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret client briefs and clearly communicate details of partnerships, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, publishers, and business partners.
  • Experience in dealing with one or multiple affiliate platforms and technologies, such as Awin, CJ, Partnerize, and Impact.
  • Adaptable and self-assured, with a willingness to increase knowledge and expertise in the department.
