We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Metzger Search & Selection. As a key member of our scaffolding provider client, you will play a crucial role in project management and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist senior management teams in project planning and supervision
  2. Ensure contracts comply with legal standards, industry regulations, and company policies
  3. Monitor contract performance and address any issues that arise
  4. Collaborate with project managers to ensure contract terms are met
  5. Oversee timely delivery of contractual obligations
  6. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts
  7. Advise the management team on potential risks and recommend action plans
  8. Work with the finance team to monitor contract budgets
  9. Ensure company contracts adhere to relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management in the construction or scaffolding industry
  2. Advance Scaffolders Gold Card
  3. Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification desirable
  4. Experience running multiple scaffolding projects simultaneously
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire scaffolding operatives
  6. Understanding of contract law, industry standards, and construction project management
  7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously
  9. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions
  1. Office-based with occasional site visits
  2. Travel around London may be required depending on project locations
