Peregrine is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Contract Management Team, you will be responsible for the management of high-value and complex contracts from contract signature to end of life.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong commercial focus and be able to drive results from the supply chain. You will lead on contract negotiations, ensuring the best value for money, and manage contractual governance routines in accordance with relevant provisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage up to 4 complex supplier contracts with an average lifecycle of 10 years, ensuring contractual governance routines are undertaken in accordance with relevant provisions.
- Lead and negotiate on all contracts change and project requests, covering extensions of >£10m and delivery of 30 changes a year.
- Lead on both contract negotiations and disputes during the whole contract lifecycle, providing accurate detail and records at all times.
- Maintain all contract documentation in line with client material controls, ensuring a full audit trail and all relevant obligations are logged, tracked, and delivered in line with our contracts.
- Ensure all risks for your contracts are logged, tracked, and mitigations put in place where possible, feeding into relevant reporting in a timely manner.
- Ability to monitor contract performance with SLA / KPIs, manage contract disputes, oversee contract amendment processes, and lead contract closeout process.
- Experience in driving and managing compliance to contracts.
- Experience of managing delivery of contracts in scope, identifying and managing contract-related risks and issues, and implementing contract changes.
- Solution-driven, innovator, cost, and value-led.
- Experience of supporting operational and commercial stakeholders with market insights from knowledge gained from contracted suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work in an open / auditable way fitting to a regulated environment.
