Exciting Opportunity for Pharmacy Accuracy Technicians

Hunter AHP Resourcing is pleased to present two exceptional locum positions for Pharmacy Accuracy Technicians (ACT) within an NHS-operated hospital service. We are seeking qualified individuals to join our inpatient dispensary team on ongoing contracts.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Accuracy Technician will be to perform accuracy checks within the hospital dispensary, as well as assist with dispensing duties. There may also be opportunities to engage in ward-based activities, depending on your progression and skill set.

Key Details:

  • Positions available: 2 Locum Band 4/5 ACT Pharmacy Technicians
  • Location: NHS Hospital
  • Hourly Rate: £18 - £22 per hour (Umbrella), based on experience
  • Working Hours: Options for either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
  • Part-time opportunities may be considered (3, 4, or 5 days per week)

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants must possess relevant pharmacy experience, whether from community or hospital settings, and must be a qualified ACT. While prior hospital experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement, making this an excellent opportunity for community pharmacy technicians looking to transition into the hospital environment.
