We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, you will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive pharmacy service that consistently meets the needs of all service users across our hospitals and affiliated services.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately dispense and issue prescription medicines, including controlled drugs to inpatients, outpatients, and patients offsite.
- Manage and maintain IV fluids, medical gases, and stock shortages, ensuring they are managed safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the Pharmacy and report to the Senior Pharmacy Technician with support from Head Technician and/or Pharmacists.
- Accuracy check prescriptions according to the ACPT policy.
- NVQ3 in Pharmacy or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or an equivalent pharmacy technician qualification.
- Experience of working within a hospital environment.
